Paul Atkins, Ph.D. is researcher, coach, facilitator and trainer and co-developer of the Prosocial process for enhancing trust, purpose, wellbeing and cooperation in groups. He is lead facilitator trainer of Prosocial and lead author of the book “Prosocial” co-authored with Steve Hayes and David Sloan Wilson on the Prosocial process to be released in October 2019 (Click for more information).
He lives in Australia where he works with organisations and groups of all sorts to help improve communication, conflict management and performance. He has a particular interest in working with schools and other values driven organisations. He is currently working with a large Catholic K-12 school to implement Prosocial for the teachers and eventually, the students. He is also engaged in a large project exploring how School Principal wellbeing might be improved through methods such as Prosocial.
Paul also conducts research on teams, relationships, identity and wellbeing in the workplace. He is a Senior Research Fellow with the Institute for Positive Psychology and Education (ACU) and Visiting Associate Professor at the Crawford School of Public Policy. He is past President of the Australia and New Zealand Association for Contextual Behavioural Science and has recently been made a Fellow of the international ACBS.
